Our Story:
We started Runway67 in the year 2000 to sell designer clothing online. I guess that makes Runway67 seventeen years old! Our many years in business have allowed us to form relationships with manufactures and brands allowing us to source better quality clothing at low prices.
In the year 2000 we added our first Women’s Clothing Store on eBay and quickly gained PowerSeller status. We were part of the many pioneers in online shopping. As members of the Small Business Owners Group of Minnesota we helped coordinate one of their first conferences at The Minneapolis Convention Center. Which lead us to teach eBay classes.
Our first business office was in Eden Praire, Minnesota which grew faster than we anticipated. The business quickly took over the office and then the 2 car garage. When it snowed the cars sat in the driveway because our garage was now our warehouse. We kept growing and needed more space so we rented a storage unit. That is how it all started.
After many years of doing business online we decided to move 1400 miles away. In June 2014 we moved our corporate office to New York and opened a brick-and-mortar store called Runway 67 Designer Fashions. By October we ran out of space again and Runway 67’s store moved to a bigger space up the street. By the end of our first year we realized that our online stores were out-performing our physical store. As a result we soon consolidated our stores and transitioned back to an exclusively online store by the end of 2015.
Moving back to New York has also helped us be closer to our vendors and has given us the ability to strengthen our bonds with our suppliers and to offer our customers better deals, better quality and low prices!
